Review of the MSI Wind
It's funny how these computers, netbooks able to capture your mind and have to sell itself for you. I innocently walked into a computer store in search of a Smartpen, but on foot with an MSI Wind. I only have it the other day, but it did not regret one bit.
I have notebook market on the smart eye for a while now, the study of competition and what everyone likes. When it comes to 10inch laptops, the decision is up to a MSI Wind or Asus EEEPC. Both contain the same hardware specifications with little difference between them. I asked many people what they went and they did not know. In the end I pulled the wind, just because it was less expensive, but so much nicer.
Let's talk specs! It has an upgraded 120GB hard drive with 2 GB of RAM, as I am stable. It uses 802.11 b / g / n, the WiFi is lightning fast. It even has the Bluetooth actually works well with my Bluetooth mouse from Logitech. He came with a 6Battery, the 4 to 5.5 hours battery life promises. It also has a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor and a gorgeous glossy 10inch screen at 1024x600 pixels. She also has a built-in microphone and 1.3 megapixel webcam.
As expected, it has 3 USB ports, a VGA video output. It even has a built-in card reader, which is really useful for people who have digital cameras. That's not all! It even has an Ethernet port and an audio-in and-out jack.
In terms of quality and built itfeels pretty solid in the hand. It is made of plastic and will flex, but never less is very solid, if I rest my wrist on the laptop. It has a very comfortable keyboard that is almost full size. I have a lot of typing to use it to get it and the transition is seamless. If after pressing the buttons they were so nice and write to it no problem. The trackpad is also very nice. Even if it is smaller on the wind and not have to separate buttons for left and rightClick, it's still very easy to use effectively. The case is very nice, yes. It has a shiny upper side with the MSI Wind's logo. It has a white bone on the inside surface with a clean white keyboard. Even the base looks like with a lot of grills for ventilation and the speakers well. I should also mention that there is no door to the RAM access. Instead, you have to take it off the bottom.
To have a really cool feature added to MSI, the use of function keys at the top. Everything you need to do isHold down Fn and then you will be able to use them. It is not as good as Mac OS X, but comes in handy. Even the 6-cell battery extends down to where the three cells is flat. So if you are with the 6-cells creates a lift to go. I have not found that this is a problem and in fact makes it easier to type.
When I first saw the laptop, I could not get connected to my WiFi network or a connection to my Bluetooth mouse. It just so happens that this MSI is disabled by default. Windows tells you not, and soIt is really frustrating. You must TURN ON the function of the MSI-care!
In terms of speed of the MSI Wind is not a softy. It is lightning fast and very easy to use. I have a Mac as my desktop computer, but now I can use the MSI Wind as my Windows solution, since it gives a solid performance. I am able to keep multiple windows open without any problem.
There are many things that has not MSI Wind and this is a DVD drive. It is very frustrating when you wantto install new software, games or movie. It is very easy to solve this problem by getting and external DVD drive to the computer via USB port. I bought the LG slim, as the power supply via USB is a great feature was to be had. The LG Slim was $ 185 Off.
For the price of $ 650 off, the MSI Wind is definitely a good buy with some data better than expensive laptops. It is easy to operate and responds directly to the Intel Atom processor. It is definitely a useful secondaryComputer, or even one of the primary computer for a student. It weighs only 1.3 kg and is certainly a good buy. 5 out of 5!
